Please note : The kids race is not timed and parents can run along side if they think they are to young. You wont need to buy second entry
Every finisher receives a finishers medal
Start and Finish Line will all be located at Frankston Foreshore (near pier). Warm up and Race briefing will commence 15mins prior to starting time for each event near the start line.
Please note, your official race time will only begin once you pass through the start line/arch, so there's no need to rush at the start.
Online entries will close Friday 18 November 2023 at 6pm
Limited late entries will be available during the following times from the race venue:
Saturday 15 November 2025 12pm-5pm
Sunday 16 November 2025 (45 mins before each race start time)
The course takes place along the picturesque Frankston Foreshore, beginning at Frankston Pier, extending along Nepean Hwy to Eels Race Rd in Carrum, and back. For safety, no dogs, bikes, scooters, or rollerblades are permitted on the course.
Timing & Cut-Offs:
There is no official cut-off time for each distance, except for participants who exceed 3 hours.
Important Note:
It is each athlete’s responsibility to know the course. Failure to complete the full course, including all turnaround points, will result in a DNF (Did Not Finish) status.
Important Information for Competitors: Bib Pickup and Timing Devices
Each competitor will receive a timing device integrated into their race bib, which will accurately record their time on race day.
Bib Pickup Times:
Location: Start/Finish line grass area in front of Frankston Pier
Competitors may also collect bibs for friends or family. Please ensure you have the participant's name, age category, and race distance ready when picking up their bib.
BIB POSTAGE
We generally send all bibs out 2-3 weeks before event as bulk. You will be notified once your bib has been posted
Please Note
1. Merchandise purchased during registration will not be mailed out and must be collected from the Registration Tent on race weekend.
2. If you already have a bib (posted or picked up Saturday) you don't need to stand in line again Sunday morning you just need to go directly to start line

1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishes, male and female, in each category will receive a trophy/medal.

Kids Race - No Awards. Each child will receive a medal and spot prizes available
Bike parking will be available at the event site. It’s a great way to warm up! Please bring your own lock.
Public toilet blocks and portable toilets will be located at the event site and along the course. There are also public toilet blocks on the course, which will be sign posted. FIRST AID St John First Aid will be located at the finish line, and on the course. If you require first aid assistance on the course, please notify a drink station attendant, course marshal or a course bike rider who will be able to radio for help. St John bike crews will also be roaming the course.
A Clothing bag drop area will be located in the event site for storage of your clothing during the run/ walk. Please do not place any valuables in the clothing bags, as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.
Water and Sports Drink (32GI) will be on course approximately every 2.5km and at the finish line. Refreshments will also be supplied at the finish line for all competitors. There will be a small drink table at the 2.5km (5km runners) turnaround (self service). Toilets located at 2 x drink stations.
Event People reserves the right to alter the course, start time and/or race format without notice because of circumstances outside the control of the organiser and under the direction of sponsors, councils, police or other organisations that are associated with the event.
Each competitor will be given a disposable timing device built within their race bib which will record their time on the day. Ensure you cross finish line timing mats to record your race time. Results will be posted here.

There is plenty of parking in and around the race start/finish. Please note there will be no parking within car park areas around foreshore car park until all distances have started
• All competitors must wear a race bib number and must be clearly visible at all times.
• Participants must only discard any litter including bottles, cups or rubbish at designated aid stations.
• Non-participant runners or cyclists are not allowed on the course. This may include supporters, coaches, athletes who have withdrawn or been disqualified.
• No dogs, bikes, prams, scooters or rollerblades are allowed on course for safety reasons
• Participants found not to have completed the entire Run course may be disqualified.
• It is expected that all participants run a fair race taking into consideration those other participants around them.
• If a participant decides to withdraw from the race at any time, it is the responsibility of the participant to report to the drop out clerk at the information tent near the finish line and have their details recorded. It is essential that race officials know where participants are on the course at all times.

Our newest event on the fun run calendar is the Frankston Running Festival will be back in year2. This will be a return course with the start/finish line at Frankston waterfront (Frankston Pier) to Keast Park Seaford on Sunday 17 November 2024. This will be an opportunity for elite athletes and fun run enthusiasts to have a unique experience running along a traffic-free Nepean Highway with the unmissable and stunning backdrop of Port Phillip Bay.
The weekend features a variety of running & walking events to suit all ages and fitness levels. All finishers receive a finishers medal.
